BTR Road Toll Policy
All Burleigh Truck Rental trucks are fitted with an electronic device (e-tag) that beeps when you drive through tollways on roads.
Planning on using tollways?
If you do drive through a toll road you will be charged the applicable toll road fee and an administration fee of $3.50.
Loyalty Discount
Every 7th hire is free! We offer loyalty discounts for returning customers. Hire with us and get every 7th hire free. The hire rate for the free day is $99. Loyalty discount doesn't apply for weekly or monthly hire.
Fuel Charges
You are requested to return your vehicle with the same fuel level as when it was collected. If the vehicle is not re-fuelled, we charge extra $25 for refill plus fuel charges.
Payment Info
We accept Cash payment, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, EFTPOS, Direct Deposit.
When booking a truck over the phone or in person we require full payment for the hire on a Visa, MasterCard or American Express. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of hire.

Top notch customer service.I handed back the truck after a hard day of moving houses, and I soon realised I left a king mattress behind. But don’t worry because these absolute legends got me the truck back the following morning free of charge because they know mistakes happen.Timely efficient and all round service is better than the monopoly of other rentals companies.

I hired a Ford Transit van to pick up my storage from Sydney. The van was clean and modern and great to drive on the highway. The booking was seamless and the staff were helpful. It was no problem to extend the hire for a few days whilst away. Overall the experience of renting from Burleigh Truck Rental was a good one.

Easy and quick online services for booking. Reasonable pricing. Newer trucks (clean and well kept)The $400 bond is held for 14-30 days. So be weary if you need it back asap. The staff didn't express this when paying the bond and payment for the bond requires a physical card. (It is stated in the terms for rental page or somewhere through a link on the booking page)Overall good experience.

Fantastic company and great customer service! Used many truck rental companies in the past and this is by far the best on the Gold Coast. Coming from a young family with only 1 male, the mechanical lift Made moving into our home an easy, hassle free process! The trucks were in new working order and made driving very comfortable. The process of hiring a van was very easy to book, collect and return. The staff were friendly, the vans were clean, work well and the equipment supplied was a great functioning order.Moving a business is stressful, but the hiring of the truck to complete this was stress free which was fantastic. In all my car and truck hires at BTR I have never once been disappointed in their service. They had everything I needed and even offered items that they thought I would need just incase which I greatly appreciated. That type of service definitely goes beyond just renting the car/truck to me. They prices are great and very reasonable compared to many other car/truck rentals. Overall it’s just so easy and the people you deal with are awesome. Would highly recommend their service to all jobs big and small!
